Deleting your AaradhyaHub account

You can delete your AaradhyaHub account yourself at any time. This page explains how, what is removed, and what is kept.

1. Deleting your account from the app or website

If you can still sign in, this is the fastest route and takes effect immediately:

• Sign in to AaradhyaHub.
• Open the account menu (your initials, top right) and choose My Account.
• Scroll to Delete my account.
• You will be shown exactly what will be deleted. Type your full name to confirm.
• Press Permanently delete my account.

2. If you cannot sign in

Email support@aaradhyahub.com from the email address on the account, or write to us from the mobile number registered to it, and ask us to delete it. Tell us the name on the account so we can find it. We will confirm by reply once it is done.

We answer during Mon–Sat, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM IST. If you contact us from an address or number we cannot match to an account, we will ask you for something that identifies it before deleting anything — deleting the wrong person's account on request would be the greater harm.

3. What is deleted

Deletion is immediate and permanent. It cannot be undone, and none of it can be restored afterwards. Removed with your account:

• Your name, email address, mobile number, date of birth and profile photo.
• Your verification status and your password.
• Every booking you have made, including the addresses and notes attached to them, and any booking still upcoming — which is cancelled.
• Every review you have written, including reviews already published on a pandit's profile.
• Your saved pandits.
• Your wallet balance and your entire wallet transaction history.
• Your vrat and festival reminder subscriptions, so no further reminders are sent.

4. What is kept, and why

• Records of messages we sent you.Our log of the booking confirmations, reminders and verification codes we sent — the recipient number, the time and the text — is kept separately from your account and is not deleted with it. It is how we can answer "was I ever told my pooja was cancelled?", which is a question that outlives the account and that you may want answered.
• Records of emails we sent you, on the same basis.
• Payment records held by Razorpay. Payments are processed by Razorpay, and their own record of a transaction is theirs, not ours — deleting your AaradhyaHub account does not remove it. Contact Razorpay directly about data they hold.

Everything listed in section 3 is deleted at once. The message and email logs above are the only records we keep, and they contain what we sent you rather than a copy of your profile.

5. Your wallet balance

A wallet balance is forfeited when the account is deleted and cannot be refunded afterwards. If you still hold a balance, use it or email support@aaradhyahub.com before you delete the account. The deletion screen shows your balance and warns you before you confirm.

6. Deleting the app is not deleting your account

Uninstalling the AaradhyaHub Android app removes it from your phone but leaves your account and its data untouched. Use one of the two routes above to delete the account itself.
